In 2000, Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Indianapolis founded Coro Latinoamericano in response to the diocese’s increasing number of Latinx and Hispanic parishioners. The choir leads the 1 p.m. Santa Misa Sunday service and combines Anglican tradition with Latino music and culture. Coro Latinoamericano is led by Director Yuri Rodriguez who is a graduate of the IU School of Music and an internationally famed singer. Yuri serves as both the Director of the Coro Latinoamericano and as the Ministry Support Coordinator for Christ Church Cathedral. Coro Latinoamericano will be the special musical guest at our Sunday morning service on February 23rd, 2020. You won’t want to miss them! The service will be bilingual in English and Spanish.
