The Annual Meeting of Good Samaritan Episcopal Church was on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

Highlights included:

  • Father Gray presented the recommendation of the 2019 Strategic Planning team, which has been accepted and embraced by the Bishop’s Committee.  We are being called to pursue the path of building a village hub on the 56th Street property, where Good Sam’s would be one of several co-owners with partner nonprofits. (The powerpoint slides from Gray’s presentation are here.)
  • Our Strategic Planning Team reviewed their year of exploration, discernment, research and conversation, and presented a brief summary of their extensive final report, which you can find here. You can also take a look at selected appendices to their report, which are here.
  • Kevin Samples, our new Senior Warden, introduced the Next Step Project Teams that will help us make progress on pursuing the path of the Village Hub concept.
