Soles 4 Souls Drive

Pack 396 and Good Samaritan Episcopal Church are partnering to collect used shoes for those in need, both domestically and internationally. The partnership is in support of both Indy Do Day (a weekend of service across Central Indiana) and a national Boy Scouts of America campaign to collect 25,000 pairs of shoes across the U.S.

WHAT: Collect shoes from Brownsburg residents during a one-day “drive thru” project

WHEN: Saturday, October 1, 2016, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm

WHERE: Bundy Lodge in Arbuckle Acres Park, Brownsburg, Indiana

HOW CAN I HELP: There are two ways to help with this project:

1. Let all of your neighbors and friends know to clean out their closet and drop of their shoes on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Arbuckle Acres. Getting the word out would REALLY help!!
2. Come to the park on October 1 to help the scouts collect and bag the shoes. The scouts will take care of transporting the shoes to Soles 4 Souls, located in Nashville, Tennessee, for distribution to homeless shelters and other aid organizations around the world.
