Dia De Los Muertos (The Day of All Souls) is coming to Good Sam’s on Sunday, October 28. We’re commemorating this Mexican Christian holy day a way of celebrating diversity in our community and in remembrance of all those we love but see no longer. We’ll have the Coro Hispano from Christ Church Cathedral as our special guests (you don’t want to miss them!), and our service will be bilingual in English and Spanish. Here’s how we hope you’ll participate: plan on bringing a framed photo of your loved ones who have passed on, and bring a plate of their favorite food or goodie to share with others. We will create a giant shared altar of remembrance for our predecessors, and afterwards, eat the foods in their honor.
