Meet the newest baptized Good Samaritans!

Meet the newest baptized Good Samaritans!

After a fabulous Launch Sunday last Sunday, here are four great reasons you want to be with us this Sunday, September 18 and help us continue the great momentum we started last Sunday!

1. Good Samaritan Sunday School (ages four and higher) officially begins! Barbie and her team are ready to help our youngest Samaritans to grow as open-minded followers of Jesus who love and serve and include all people. We’ve also got a great youth group started with a fabulous group of 6th and 7th graders, and our nursery is now available for youngest ones, too!

2. Spark2Serve, conversations and reflections about real-life intersections of faith and how we serve others, kicks off after our 10 a.m. worship. This week’s topic: How Do I (Lovingly and Faithfully) Respond as a Person of Faith to Someone Asking My Help? You pull up to an intersection and see someone standing with a sign needing help…what should you as a Good Samaritan do? We’ll have some great conversation and an immediate action step you can take.
cross3. We’ll be blessing Good Samaritan’s beautiful new tapestry (handmade by Wendy Meaden) and our beautiful new altar cross (handmade by Mark Nierzwick).
4. We’ll be giving away a $100 gift card to Dawson’s Too to one lucky Good Samaritan as a celebration of our successful launch weekend (you must be present to win!).

See you Sunday! Gray+
