– Noon Day Service at Messiah Lutheran
– 6 p.m. Eucharist Service with imposition of Ashes at Good Samaritan

Children’s Programming Offered for Ash Wednesday
Our new building has presented us a wonderful opportunity to offer programming for Good Sam’s Kids during worship and the imposition of ashes on Ash Wednesday on March 5th at 6 p.m. While adults are in worship, we will have prayer stations in the Parish Hall for all Good Sam’s Kids and Littles. Among these prayer stations will be a forgiveness prayer station, labyrinth prayer station, and Lego prayer station. Good Sam’s Kids will learn about what happens on Ash Wednesday. Adults and youth are receiving their ashes, but we will be reading the book, You Are Stardust by Elin Kelsey! We will learn about the Season of Lent, hide the alleluias, and talk a little bit about how we prepare for Easter during Holy Week.

After worship, Community Sing will be happening Books and Brews in Brownsburg. Childcare will be provided at Good Sam’s until 8:45 p.m. for parents who would like to attend. Please reach out Barbie (barbie@churchthatserves.org) if you would like to know more!

Community Sing – March 5
Join us directly after our Ash Wednesday service as we head over to Books and Brews on from 7-8:30 p.m. for our monthly Community Sing. (There will be childcare at Good Sam’s until 8:45 p.m. for any adults who want to join!)

Every first Wednesday of the month, come out to embrace the joy of community singing at our Paperless Community Sing—a unique gathering for both seasoned vocalists and those who simply love to sing. No experience is necessary, and all skill levels are warmly welcomed. Eating and/or drinking is highly encouraged in order to support this small business and its employees.
